Merritt Yohnka (1st April 1958 – 16th September 2020; age 62) was a famous stunt coordinator and stunt performer. During her career spanning more than three decades in Hollywood, Merritt Yohnka starred in several popular films and shows, including "Chuck," "Rizzoli & Isles," "Transformers" and "Die Hard 4.0." Merritt Yohnka worked as a stunt co-ordinator on 'Lucifer' from 2017-2019.
Yohanka passed away on 16th September 2020 at the age of 62 due to complications from cancer.

Merritt Yohnka was also a member of the Directors Guild of America. His numerous credits as a stunt coordinator include the science fiction horror film Synge nor (1990), the thriller Poison Ivy (1992), the action drama Dragon: The Bruce Lee Story (1993), the television series Silk Stockings (1994–1995). High Tide (1996), Martial Law (1998), LA Heat (1997–1999), and Nash Bridges (1996–2001), action thriller Chain of Command (2000), comic adaptation on the second unit of Spider-Man (2002) and Fantastic Four (2005), and the television series Sleeper Cell (2006), Lost (2007), The Shield (2002–2008), Chuck (2007–2011), Pretty Little Liars (2012–2013), Stalker (2015), Super girl (2016), Rizzoli & Isles (2012–2016), Marvel's Runaways (2017), and Lucifer (2017–2019).
Merritt Yohnka won two Emmy Awards in 2008 and 2009 for his stunt coordination on the television series Chuck. In 2010 he earned another nomination for Outstanding Stunt Coordination on Chuck. In 2011 he received a Screen Actors Guild Award nomination in the category of Outstanding Performance by a Stunt Ensemble in a Motion Picture for his work on the science fiction sequel Transformers: Dark of the Moon.
He worked as a stunt double for Thomas Gibson in the television series Dharma and Greg (1998), for Dennis Quaid on the horror fantasy film Legion (2010), for Lex Madeline on the comedy The Little Rascals Save the Day (2014) , and William Fichner on the television series Shooter (2016).
With a career spanning four decades, Merritt Yohnka made stints in projects such as the science fiction thriller They Live (1988), the horror film Leatherface: Texas Chainsaw Massacre III (1990), the action film Last Action Hero (1993), The Science and Technology Act (1993).
